How does a simple girl from a small remote village develop wings and wander over the entrepreneurship umbrella? It seems like a dream come true, doesn’t it? Don’t be misguided by the ‘simple girl’, as this girl was always full of ideas to achieve more than what others thought she could. Meet Mahalakshmi Saravanan, a self-made personality who now envisages a future in not just entrepreneurship, but also in promoting and motivating women empowerment to the next level.
She started with zero contacts, when she landed in the big city like Chennai, but now boasts of thousands of well-wishers and friends who look up to her. Though she was a shy and reserved person, she developed the necessary skills to network, improve her contacts and grew steadily. So, what do you think was behind this process of self-growth – Just self-motivation and incessant determination.
Her dream project is her impressive initiative called ‘Women Entrepreneurs India’, through which she has become a force to reckon today. She is a role model to any woman who dreams of making big, though her roots are from a humble background. She has shown the world that just think it and you can achieve it – all you need is determination and the drive to keep moving forward.
She is an SEO specialist and digital marketing strategist and has been instrumental in guiding several businesses to acquire high rankings online. She has taught this technique to more than hundred women entrepreneurs and aspiring students.
She recently launched Kidpreneurs India,an initiative to nurture young minds and foster creativity in children by offering them multiple opportunities for experiential learning.
Her vision is to create opportunities for the under-privileged in the field of education in particular, and in the overall society as well. On the personal side, she juggles being a wife, mother and proactive thinker, along with her professional roles.

Mahalakshmi Saravanan has been featured on “The Economic Times”(newspaper) on Women's Entrepreneurship Day,Nov,19th, 2016.
She has been conferred the Rex Karmaveer Global Fellowship,an award instituted by iCongo and the United Nations at “iCONGO’s REX Conclive, NewDelhi.
She has recently been selected as the “India Turns Pink Ambassador” by India turns Pink, an initiative dedicated towards breast cancer awareness.
She was a panelist at the International Women’s Day Celebration(March,2015) at World Trade Centre,Mumbai
Applauding her enterprising feat, Mahalakshmi Saravanan, has been conferred with the “BEST WOMAN ENTREPRENEUR AWARD' by SSM Educational Institutions, Komarapalayam.
She was a panelist at the Mentors' Meet, an event jointly organised by the Hindu and the Samhita Academy at Coimbatore where Mr.Shibu Lal, Co-founder Infosys was the Key note speaker.
