Dr Deepak Deshpande is currently with Netmagic Solutions as Senior Vice President & Head – Human Resources. Netmagic, an NTT Communications company, is India’s only Datacenter Infrastructure Lifecycle Management (DILM) Service Provider.
He joined Netmagic at a very strategic time in Nov 2007 and is playing a pivotal role in facilitating the vision “To be India’s Leading and Most Admired IT Managed Services Company” and pursuesits mission being an “Employer of Choice”.
Since he had joined – namely Fidelity, Nexus in 2008 and Cisco, Nokia in 2010 and recently NTT in 2012; he is partnering in business with greater focus on managing organizational transition and scaling up of organization in light of couple of rounds of funding.
Prior to joining Netmagic in Nov 2007, Dr. Deepak Deshpandeenjoyed a flourishing career with Lionbridge Technologies as Head – HR, India Operations. Earlier, he held several leadership positions in companies like Lionbridge Technologies, SYSTIME, Trigyn Technologies, BlueStarInfotech, Datamatics, Tata Consultancy Services and Larsen & Toubro.
Dr Deepak Deshpande have been actively associated with HR movement in IT/ITES companies in Western India. He was a past president and mentor of HR Infotech Association. Currently, he is on NASSCOM’s Steering Committee for western region working on Diversity and Inclusion. He is a Co-Chairman, HRD Committee, Indian Merchant’sChamber(IMC). He was on the Board of Executive Committee of National HRD Network, Mumbai chapter. He is an active Rotarian and Past President of Rotary Club of Bombay
Dr Deppak Deshpande has done Ph.D in Management. His doctorate thesis was on “New Age Corporate Leadership – A Critical Study”. He is a Post Graduate in Electronics-MSc and Business Administration-MBA. Heholds a Research Degree in Electronics – M.Phil and has successfully completed SEI P-CMM Course by Carnegie Mellon University – USA. Hehas also earned Post Graduate Diploma in Marketing Management and Distance Education and General Management.
