Dr. Jayan Sen has held global senior leadership roles in human resources, leadership development, talent and organization development across industries that have included consulting, publishing, education, transportation, logistics and information technology.
Currently, with Infosys, a global business services company he is with the Infosys Leadership Institute. His role is to coach, develop and transition the senior-most leaders with the highest potential (“Tier 1” – SVPs) and the Executive Council to the top jobs (Infosys Board).He is the organization development architect for these leaders’ organizations in addition to being responsible for designing and implementing the succession planning process at Infosys. He created the unique CADR executive coaching process that is currently used by Infosys.
Dr. Sen began his career with McGraw-Hill, a publishing company in Chicago and spent 13 years with BNSF, a Fortune 150 Transportation and Logistics company, headquartered in Fort Worth, Texas. In his previous role with this company, as Director, Talent Management and Organization Development, he was the chief Talent and Organization Development strategy architect. He initiated the highly successful company-wide Executive Coaching Program for the top 120 executives. He collaborated with the CEO and the Board to conduct executive succession and produce delta bridging developmental planning for key Board successors. He has also done extensive, innovative work with Business Process Optimization and Organizational Design.
Dr. Sen’s work in the area of Performance Management and Leadership Development has been cited by the Corporate Executive Board – Learning and Development Roundtable, and Training Magazine as industry benchmarks. Dr. Sen has also held HR Generalist roles experienced in all areas of people management including staffing, employee relations, team building and administration.
Dr. Sen currently resides with his wife and son in Mysore, India.
