‘The achievements of the past are only as valuable as the vision they inspire in us for the future’. In the very beginning of the year, we at SMBConnect, have taken stock of our efforts, reflected on our achievements, charted a course and planned meticulously to amplify the remarkable momentum built in the last year.
2018 marked the launch of our niche initiative for women entrepreneurs- Advaita with the recognition that women represent an economic and social engine with the potential to transform the global economy. In 2019, we will refine our efforts to open up a new world of possibilities for them. We have planned the Advaita- Women Entrepreneurs Awards in Punjab, Chandigarh & Haryana in mid-April, the nominations for which are already open. We also plan to organise Advaita in Jharkhand in the last week of May, in New Delhi in June-end, in North east India in the first week of July, in Karnataka and Telangana in August beginning,

in Gujarat in mid-September, in Madhya Pradesh in October-end, Season 2 in Rajasthan in mid-November and in Uttar Pradesh in December-end.

We intend to infuse renewed vigour into our knowledge series- Start Manage Expand which aims to build and hone the technical and business capabilities of entrepreneurs across India. After reflecting on the achievements of the previous four seasons, we have planned to launch Start Manage Expand in Jharkhand in May, in Maharashtra in July, and in Karnataka & Telangana in August.

We are also excited to launch Excellerate Entrepreneur Awards in 2019. We have conceived Excellerate Entrepreneur Awards to honour exceptional entrepreneurs and magnificent people who have the potential to translate their intellectual capital into real-world impact and to reshape the dynamics of Indian business world. Taking cognizance of that fact that North-east India has an enormous entrepreneurial flair which remains unrecognised and unappreciated, we will launch the maiden Excellerate awards in North-east India in the first week of July. Next, we will organise Excellerate awards in Gujarat and Madhya Pradesh.

In our quest to ensure entrepreneurial success in the rapidly changing business world, we have planned Trade Expos in Amabala, Karnal and Pune, and Small businesses conclave in North-east India.

I am grateful to everyone who made tangible contributions to make 2018 a success for us. 2019 will be a watershed year and I hope you will support us to help us realise the exciting trajectory that we have envisioned for SMBConnect!
