The New age of NARI – PRENEUR!

By: Heena Sharma

Women are natural born leaders. On this women’s day I salute the indomitable spirit, determination and dedication of Nari Shakti . In my journey of covering Small and medium businesses over many years, I have met and interacted with several female entrepreneurs- my conversations with them about life, business and success in general made me ponder over what it is that makes the new age nari-preneur and her business tick.

1. EQ over any Q’s

Needless to say, Women are naturally endowed with EQ- their success is strongly influenced by personal qualities such as perseverance, self-control and skill in getting along with others. It is their emotional intelligence and ability to identify and manage the emotions of themselves and others which makes them high achievers embracing the work life balance!
2. Instinctual instinct
Successful female entrepreneurs are fuelled by their intuition. They are guided by gut and feelings and it is their instinct that keeps them grounded. They are not easily swayed by what is “in” and they don’t succumb to peer pressure rather than go by the gut n gumption technique.

3. Meticulously organised
For any successful organisation to succeed, things have to be planned and organised. Women really are more organised in the workplace than men, a new study has revealed. The fairer sex have the upper hand when it comes to meeting deadlines and arriving at work on time and generally keeping the things on top.

4. Visionary
Successful female entrepreneurs are visionary and far sighted-They can see what others can’t. The vision is much larger– it’s not what they want to get, it’s who they want to become as a whole and   how they want to inspire others. It is all about setting up a paradigm shift and breaking barriers ,inspiring others to follow eventually establishing new rules and ways of thinking.

5. Belief System

Passion is what drives inspiration and it helps  in carrying out the endeavors through thick and thin times. No successful woman can become successful by happenstance- they have a vision for where their entrepreneurial dreams will take them and how to achieve those goals, and then imbibe the dedication to see it through.
