Mentors’ Mantra - Trishneet Arora

Trishneet Arora is an Indian author, a cyber security expert, an ethical hacker and entrepreneur. Arora has authored for books "The Hacking Era”, "Hacking TALK with Trishneet Arora” and "Hacking with Smart Phones" with several technical manuals and given countless lectures, workshops and seminars throughout his career.
With no family background in computers or business, Trishneet’s journey from a middle class child to a successful young adult is very extraordinary and inspirational.

The tale began a decade ago when 11 year old Trishneet got his first computer. Soon he started to experiment with it and in turn learned all about computer hardware. As a result of his computer fanaticism he failed in the class VIII examination and completed his class X through open learning.

While blogging he got curious about ethical hacking and cyber security. He was so enthralled in this subject that he decided to write a book and share his learning. Due to some hitches, his first book did not see much triumph, so he started again. His second book, ‘The Hacking Era’, was published in February 2013.  That was around the same time he also decided to start his own venture TAC Security Solutions.

In 2013, he addressed his keynote speech with Former Finance Minister of India, Mr.Yashwant Sinha at a Business Relation Conference in Gujarat. After listening to his speech some senior police officers invited him to hold a workshop for their crime branch. Here he began to work on cyber-crime cases for the police. And momentarily, he was approached by the Punjab police to conduct a training session with them on cyber-crime investigation and forensics. Since then, Trishneet has been training numerous IPS officers, Crime Branch Cell officials, bank employees and CBI Officers.

In 2014, he was bestowed upon a State Award by the Chief Minister of Punjab, Mr. Prakash Singh Badal. Following which he was appointed as the IT advisor of Punjab PoliceAcademy.

In the same year deputy Chief Minister of Punjab Sukhbir Singh Badal released his second book "Hacking Talk with Trishneet Arora".

Today his multinational enterprise, TAC Security Solutions, provides protection to corporations against network vulnerabilities and data theft and cyber security training. Some of TAC’s clients include the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI), Punjab Police, Gujarat Police, Reliance Industries Limited, Amul, Ralson (India) Ltd, Avon Cycles Ltd, MNCs from Dubai and UK

Trishneet, recently received the Punjab Icon Award in Mumbai alongside Virender Sehwag, Malvinder Mohan Singh, RS Sodhi, Ayushmann Khurrana and Surveen Chawla.
