Mr. Vijay Shah, a man who not only dared to dream of building an exemplary organization but also invested his entire potential in making it come true, by establishing “PETALS Professional Services” on 16th January, 1996 as India’s one of the finest organization supporting Indian Exports’ Fraternity.

The journey towards building PETALS started after Mr. Shah studied the complexity of legal laws under various provision for exports and customs. He gathered the practical experience, particularly in the industry of processed food. Along with this he also learnt about export procedures and maintaining the level of quality. After gaining the expertise in standard and special guidance on exports policy from an experts in the field, he decided to share his experience with likeminded entrepreneurs from industry engaged in manufacturing and exports of food products. 

Mr. Shah, with time, built a strong organization with the USP of supporting the units of virtual offices, where his organization undertakes the responsibility of documentation on behalf of the client for entire export order processing including all the legal formalities which are to be done with banks and other financial institutions, by getting the final exports realizations and availing available exports benefits.

PETALS, in no time became the one stop solution for such services with minimal liability, filling the heart of exporters with joy and credibility.
With the growing requirements of industry, in 1999, Mr. Shah moved overseas to hone his skills along with other members of organization. He gained additional knowledge on global requirement and promotion of processed food industry. He studied the global packaging, display, quality measures as well regulatory standards for exports of commodity from India.

 In 2003, PETALS achieved yet another milestone by becoming the first ISO Certified (Foreign Trade) Consulting Firm in India. This unique certification was awarded by SAI Global Assurance Services, Australia. PETALS also got recognition from AIFPA, Delhi in uplifting the Gujarat Based Food Industries in association with certifying body and APEDA.

In 2006, the organization grew further with a new unit of in the field of operations. With this PETALS moved into other sectors of industry apart food sector. Progressing further, in 2008, additional services were initiated by moving towards import assignments.  Climbing up the ladder, in 2010, PETALS has started consultancy in Excise Department, focusing on clearance of pending cases before Local Officers / Appeal / Adjudicated Cases.
